Please complete the following application based on these mentorship options.

Social Mentor: These mentors are the bulk of the peer mentor program. They actively engage the student in the community and on campus. They are ensuring that the student is out participating in events and socializing with their peers. Social mentors are encouraged to take students off campus and participate in community events. Social mentors meet with students weekly during various times. This can include but is not limited to; evenings, lunch times, between classes, breakfast, and weekends.

Academic Mentor: These mentors support students within the EMPOWER program through in-class support or outside tutoring. When filling the tutor role, these mentors usually have expertise in an area a student may need assistance in. When supporting a student in class, the mentor is there to complete notes, assist with classroom etiquette, and facilitate communication with classroom peers and professors.

Health/Wellness Mentor: This mentorship role involves creativity with weekend activities like cooking as well as workout class attendance throughout the week. This can be group for weekend activities or one-on-one throughout the week. This role would be ideal for anyone looking to create their own session design. Also, for students looking into pursuing occupational therapy.
