Documentation
Our review indicates that the ACR needs improved documentation.
In reviewing documentation, we check the Evaluation Methods section for evidence of the following testing activities:
- automated testing using various screen reader and web page scanning tools
- manual testing by accessibility professionals
- testing in multiple browsers and operating systems, including mobile operating systems
In the Remarks and Explanations column, we check for
- specific explanations of how criteria are rated
- demonstration of an understanding of the criteria
- when a criteria is not supported, information for how this lack of support would affect users
- plans for remediation of unsupported criteria
