Early Career Alumni Award
The College of Engineering Early Career Alumni Award recognizes the exceptional professional and personal achievements of University of Arkansas College of Engineering graduates who are within 15 years from their first University of Arkansas graduation date. The Early Career Alumni Award will be presented to individuals who are achieving distinction in their fields of endeavor and show significant promise for professional leadership in state, national and international activities. The Early Career Alumni Awards will be made each year at the annual College of Engineering Alumni Awards Banquet.
Criteria
• The recipient must be a graduate of the University of Arkansas’ College of Engineering and must be receiving the award within 15 years of their first graduation date (i.e. 2024 Awardees must have graduated with their first degree in or after 2009).
• Active members of the faculty of the University of Arkansas are not eligible for selection.
• A selected nominee MUST be able to attend the awards ceremony in-person in order to accept the award. In the event a successful nominee is unable to attend the Banquet, he or she will be allowed to defer their award to the next year or an agreed upon period of time by the Dean.
Distinguished Alumni Award
The College of Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award honors the exceptional professional and personal achievements of University of Arkansas College of Engineering graduates. Recipients have achieved distinction in their fields of endeavor and have provided outstanding leadership and service to the College of Engineering, and to the organizations and communities to which they belong. The Distinguished Engineering Alumni Awards will be made each year at the annual College of Engineering Alumni Awards Banquet.
Criteria
• The recipient must be a graduate of the University of Arkansas’ College of Engineering.
• Active faculty members of the University of Arkansas are not eligible for selection.
